Hello and thank you for considering Laura's Little Einsteins Daycare and Preschool for your childcare needs!

My name is Laura Broekema and I have been a licensed and insured childcare program in Eagan, MN since 2012. I strive to provide a program that nurtures the whole child and allows them to grow and learn in a fun, loving and educational environment.

I also want parents to feel comfortable and confident knowing they have selected a well-rounded program for their child.

Lauras Little Einsteins operates on a District 196 teachers schedule making it a perfect fit for teacher’s kids or district employee kids (although anyone is welcome!).

Our hours are Monday- Friday 7am - 4:30pm. Summers we are closed along with the schools but there is no cost to you during this time.

State Approved Preschool Program

Monday - Friday September-May we offer a state approved preschool program. This program meets all the state standards and concepts expected in a Pre-K program.

Developmental Goals

During the preschool day we work to develop the whole child focusing on key areas of development important for kindergarten readiness. These areas include:

  • Social & Emotional
  • Language & Literacy
  • Mathematics & Reasoning
  • Physical Development
  • Self-Care.

Gross and Fine Motor Skills

Opportunities will be presented in teacher lead activities, small group activities, circle time, independent play, stations and more. Your child will also develop gross and fine motor skills such as:

  • Cutting with scissors
  • Writing & Correct Utensil Holding Technique
  • Using Glue & Glue Sticks
  • Pedaling, Climbing & Jumping

Healthy Environment

Laura's Little Einsteins Daycare is a member of Providers Choice food Program. Research has proven children who attend a childcare facility that participates on the USDA Food Program eat healthier than those who don’t.

Importance of Nutrition

Children who regularly eat a healthy diet are sick less often, have more energy and overall have fewer health problems. Most of our meals on our menu are prepared from scratch with high effort to reduce added sugars, food dyes and highly processed foods.

Cleaning and Sanitation

I use child safe cleaning methods to reduce the exposure to harmful chemicals in my home. We also have a level two medical grade air purification system installed to help reduce the spread of airborne viruses and bacteria that are often causes of childhood illness.

Child Enrichment

In efforts to keep the kids excited about their upcoming days we offer varies child enrichment programs at no cost to you! These include Stretch-N-Grow, Travel Tots and Scholastic Reading Club!

Stretch-n-Grow

Stretch-N-Grow offers a EXERciting program for kids starting as young as 18 months. Each Stretch-n-Grow coach is a certified youth fitness specialist. Stretch-n-Grow's mission is to teach preschool children the importance of being healthy and becoming the STAR they were created to be!

Travel Tots

The children look forward to bi-weekly classes presented by Ms. Deneth. The mission of Travel Tots is to teach children understanding and acceptance of other cultures in this fun child enrichment program. Including: Adventures in Geography, Adventures in Motion, Adventures in Song and Dance and Adventures in Science.

Scholastic Book Club

We participate in Schoolastic Reading Club! When you place an order from Scholastic Reading Club it supports both your child and your child's school. There are several titles they grow to love that are available at lower then retail cost. With each order our classroom places we receive points for future classroom books!
