Hi, I’m Laura! Here's a little about me!

Hello my name is Laura Broekema!

I grew up in Eagan in a family of 9 children. Having a full house is what feels natural! My husband Brad and I have been married for 10 years and have three wonderful children (ages 2, 6 and 8). Most of my free time is spent with my husband and kids.

Together we enjoy the MN zoo, library, Cascade bay and LOTS of parks. When I am not with my family I really enjoy quiet time, getting a manicure, sitting by a camp fire or taking a long walk. However, quiet time is hard to come by with a house full of kiddos!

I knew from a very young age that working with children was where my heart was.

Following high school I enrolled at Inver Hills Community College studying classes such as Early Childhood Development and Child Psychology.  I have continually found working with children to be one of the most rewarding things i have ever done. I love to see them learn, and the look on their face when they “get it” is the best feeling yet. I have always loved working with children and am blessed to be able to call it my job!

"My daughter absolutely LOVES going to Laura's house every day. Not only does she get to see her friends and have fun, but she also gets to learn through hands on, interactive experiences...and even brings home her "projects" that she is so proud to show off!"
